unfortunately the only bad thing about this job, is that...
the supervisor is kinda slow, or shld i say, DISTRACTED
so when she does the counting of the money it takes a lot of time
and there are like 6cashiers including me who are waiting to knock off at 10pm
it drags on till like 1030 and such for the others cos they complain to me!!!
and sometimes the money in the till doesnt tally with the amount you collected, so you actually have to pay for the loss

family dinner yesterday night, recieved a new phone from my aunt! she bought 3 phones for my sis, my dad and me, lolol its 200per cos there wasn't any contract.
now my phone is super upgraded if being compared to the previous one hehe :)
i am really drained right now from working, having to wake up so early. Even though not as early as when i went to school, BUUT IT TURNS OUT TO BE SO MUCH MORE TIRING THAN SCHOOL!!!!!!

anyway good news
my pay increased by 50c per hour LOLOL, and i actually prayed for it

first day of work today at prime supermarket
i'm currently training to be first class cashier. k just kidding.
today i stood for almost 7hours, my heels were aching, cui.
in fact the job is quite stressful, and it's really not that easy being a cashier, but I'm on night shift! woohoo, all my nights are taken up now. So less customers = less stress.

the supervisor told me to memorise all the vegetables' pricing
stuff such as how much the fruits cost, the beansprout mushroom ikan bilis and dry provisions' pricings.
and then when you do cashout you've got to do the packing at the same time
it's best if the customer buys less hahahaha like one loaf of bread!?!
if not they buy one basket i will ofdwer345r324

well anyway kinda enjoy pressing the buttons on the cash register, and maybe MY CHINESE CAN IMPROVE!!!! Cos there're just so many aunties and i need to converse in chinese

Headed over to isabelle's house with ethel zizi and simin!
We ate lunch first, then went over.
Watched alvin and the chipmunks, hahahaha theodore and eleanor kinda cute but i think this movie is more of a fanmily movie so adults or those my age probably won't enjoy it that much.?

After the movie we uno like dk how many rounds, and i brought my snsd cd along!
Her speakers are quite big, its height is like, 70cm? HAHA

and i tell you, there was always a crowd at vincent van gogh's painting
i think that's the one that captures the most attention

had to head to the airport to recieve my sis who just came back from china, breakfast at macsssss, haven't eaten there for almost 4months

her chinese pronunciation improved for the 3days she was at the shandong exchange school
i think if she managed to stay in such an environment that would push her to speak chinese no matter what, she would definitely improve by leaps and bounds in that language

the most amazing thing happened today.
lol, and im so grateful to him!

what happened?
G.C started acting weird a few weeks back, it got worst recently cos it would automatically shut down, and it just displays the message "RAM CLEAR" almost everytime i turned it on.
went to bras basah today with my dad to repair it! had fish soup today, arrghhh super nice! havent had it for almost 8monthsssssss.

the problem was that the warranty for my calculator lasted for a year only, and it didn't cover issues like battery leakage or some other sort of personal damage.
the problem with mine was that, there was battery leakage!!!
Ok it always happens because of Singapore's hot weather + i don't take my batteries out during the june/dec holidays when i dont use the calculator.

GUESS WHAT?
THE GUY. THE SUPER SUPER NICE GUY. ^^
he gave me a brand new calculator. WITH NO COST. i was really taken aback. STUN MAN, NO JOKE.
i didn't even have to pay for it.
he told my dad and i: "you know, i know that you're a student so support la."
HAHA, 感恩万分, since he knew i was taking alevels as well.
i can recognise that he's the one i talked to on the phone, whose voice was so soft i could hardly hear him clearly.

chem consult today. i wouldnt even be studying if there was no consult, its what drives me to do something because i cant go there emptyhanded without doing anything.
anyhow, i took a bus for 2 stops on my way home.
haha i didnt know what struck me, but i got down the bus and started to walk for 4 stops, for 30minutes.

for 6years of my life since my secondary school days, i have travelled the same route on the same bus. but never once did i walk it. till today!! hahaha
i wont have a chance to take this bus much anymore aft i graduate :)

so i walked, like approx 7min per stop.
looked around, looked at things i never ever noticed when i was in the airconditioned bus that passed the same buildings everyday
its great. haha
I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH.
looking at trees and flowers and nature and the new lifts, the clothes that people hung outside their flats, the colorful windmills they placed at the windows and playgrounds hidden behind hdb flats i nv saw before

and there was this little girl ok i know her alrd for quite long

BUT, HER ABILITIES ARE REALLY AMAZING

ok she can speak in proper short sentences + she's a real charmer
when you tell her "wo xi huan ni"
she will grinnnnnnn so wide and giggle, come towards you, stroke your cheek and tell you "wo xi huan ni"
and then we can keep doing that for 4-5times HAHAHA
SO CUTE RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTT.

when my youngest sis told her "wo bu xi huan ni", that girl understood, she was sensitive, because her face changed to one without emotion. HAHAHA THEN THATS WHEN I TOLD HER wo xi huan ni and she started giggling all over :)

im going through another round of graduation again.
anyway, final rockclimbing session on thursday, and i was kinda proud of myself!! i managed to climb up to the top (almost).
A BIG THANKS to the power grip of my shoes! actually, i couldnt find the usual white school shoes in the morning and i was running late.....
so i just wore the other pair of grey running shoes and it turned out to be my benefit!

i really like to climb, but when you got to fall, its the worse.
i always can't bring myself to let go of my grip onto the rockwall and fall, but in the end my arms are so sore that ive got to let go anyhow!!!

well ok, that was the only highlight of thursday. nothing much after that.

MON: slept through the morning till 11am even though alarm rang and missed the chem lecture
TUES: haircut + family dinner. ate at this nearby what would you call it? neighbourhood mini restaurant iWANNAGETSTUFFED.
the waiter who was from phillipines was quite funny and friendly! =D
OH YA, during the dinner halfway, some insect flew past my sister who was sitting opposite me. i was like "was that a moth or what?", then turned out to be some FREAKING HUGE ADULT COCKCROACH HAHAHAHAHA which landed on the chair next to me but nobody sat there.
it was only a FEW INCHES AWAY from me.
i didnt even dare to look at it so i just continued eating but then the waiter came and helped us get rid of it, and then there was this couple also sitting at the table beside us and they requested to sit INSIDE. i was sitting outside the restaurant thats why insects can attack ^^v
you should have seen that lady's face i think she was even more frightened than me :)

WEDNESDAY: cousin's wedding dinner
super tired after the whole thing. we started at around 830pm, dinner ended at 11pm, got home at 12.10am
well i've still got 2 more cousins who are going into marriage soon, i can expect to attend at least 2 more

sat in the corridor outside my house yesterday
my sister calls our 2 pots of plants her "miniature garden"
it's brimming with life!!
and there are a lot, a lot of red ants. and earthworms. and some, white, insects.

so, i dug the soil deeeeeeeep, yet not that deep
and i unearthed 5 earthworms
WRIGGLY!!!!
i placed them all on the same leaf of the plant, and let them slowly crawl
my sis said their whole body is just made of muscle
well they were just crawling, using every inch of their body to move.

FUNNIEST DAY EVER IN SCHOOL, SERIOUSLY.
yes. actually the funniest ever since i've been in tpjc
today, A BEE FLEW IN TO OUR CLASS during economics lesson.
in fact the bee visited our class last week, so we shifted to another class.
today it was a different story.

THERE WAS TURMOIL AND CHAOS WITH SCREAMING COMING FROM EVERYWHERE, THE EXPRESSIONS ON EVERYONE'S FACE MADE IT SO FUNNY!!!!
it was 1 bee. 1 BEE THAT SENT OUR WHOLE CLASS INTO CHAOS.

at the start the bee was hovering around the window, so it didn't cause any disturbance, and mrs lian continued with her lesson.
unfortunately, the bee began to fly towards the 3rd row
so those in the 3rd row kept shifting in their chairs, away from the bee.
when it came too close they all got out of their chairs and ran to the door

the bee started hovering around the 3 rows we were sitting in
ANYWAY EVERYBODY GOT UP FROM THEIR SEATS, STANDING IN THE END
chrystal and yiting were just shifting away from the bee and leaning closer and closer to me
i was pushed away from my seat SO I ENDED UP SHARING A SEAT WITH SHELIA

it was seriously burning. the weather.

HELLO!!! I came up with a timetable for myself this morning for monday\
it said
3.30-5.30 pm STUDY CHEM FOR 2 HOURS
5.30-6pm rest, do whatever you want

think i got mixed up somehow
I ENDED UP DOING WHATEVER I WANTED FROM 3.30-6

and i thought a timetable would actually really help me be disciplined

2) IM SO PROUD TO BE CHINESE KEKE
it's one of the hardest languages to master, don't you think?
i put myself in the foreigners' shoes and thought, it is that difficult.
every character of the chinese word is different
it's unlike english, where we have just 26 letters to form words
OR EVEN KOREAN

ooooh korean is simple once you understand
there are only 24 characters in the alphabet
it's sth like english
and every syllable represents a character
so sometimes its repetitive
plus since i know chinese it makes it easier since some words are so similar to chinese

3) trying to immerse myself in books for the june holidays but failed horribly
i didn't read much
im sleeping aty 3am everyday, waking up at 10-11
ok i feel refreshed at least
seems like 7-8 hours of sleep is sufficient

i need to get my body clock back soon and wake up at 6.45am soon
hahaha

but she cried

i guess, from an adult's point of view it may seem like nothing
but to her, it was probably a HUGE AND IMPORTANT THING
she was so afraid the teacher would scold her it seemed like a joke to me and my mum
she rummaged through her bag
the papers we were going to recycle
in a desperate attempt to find her worksheet

FUNNY, YOU WOULD THINK
she went into the room, murmured to herself so many thins
i wouldn't even call it murmuring cos i could hear her outside the room
i had to use her elmo toy to comfort and soothe her
took the hand of elmo and stroke her, pass her tissue using elmo

HAHA,
WELL.. what could we expect
she has nothing to worry about at such a young age
even the worst would be studies
she has no worries about friends, money, relationship, or any of the sort
too young to worry about these stuff

at my age, the priority list would be some matter which weighs more importance
one got to shoulder more responsibilty and burden,
think more because you mature

just thinking about this "incident" reminds me of my childhood
whenever my parents brought us out on sunday to eat, shopping or whatever
and when the time struck 9.30 ++
i would start being upset and sian
BECAUSE SCHOOL STARTS TMR, AND I DIDN'T DO MY HOMEWORK, GOING TO GET SCOLDING BLABLA

recently, we had some switching/replacing with our economics teachers
we've got 2 teachers!
and personally, i really prefer cc to ahlian. that's my personal preference(ahaha leeminho show rmb)

her general knowledge is wayyyyyyy higher than that of the latter,
+ she has additional knowledge of real world economics,
she knows what's going on in the current world YEH CURRENT AFFAIRS.
she illustrates and gives us necessary examples accordingly
when lecturing us because of our lousy CA/SA MARKS, she doesn't just use the CUI word

PLUS CC's english is (y)
ok i think my hearing is getting somewhat sensitive.
during the star program on tuesday, when the teacher said the word "cyclical", she pronounced it as "sai-clycal" which kinda irritated me
HAHA IT REALLY GOT ON MY NERvES

ON THE OTHER HAND,
ah lian can teach us the skills necessary in essay writing and case study.
so i really thank her for that, because cc doesn't.

went over to my 3rd aunt's house and baked!!!!
we baked banana crumble and some cookies
its like cookies + chocolate chip + walnuts

then all of us went down to macritchie reservoir to take a walk!
she lives super near so we only needed to walk for 5mins before we reached

think it rained in the morning so the path was very muddy
sides of my shoes were covered in mud
i have never gone to macritchie before, but now i think it's a damn good place
its like just fresh air

MARCH HOLIDAYS..

25 hour run was surprisingly fun, at least..
ran as a class, 13 times past the gantry, we took like 25mins,
but it was fun!

SATURDAY
swam breastroke, the water was so cold i lost all feeling in my fingers and toes
you can only maintain the warmth if you keep swimming
i guess heat is just lost to the water if you dont do anything
then advance celebration for my sis's birthday at SWENSENS!!!

SUNDAY
kot practice until 3pm
actually i was feeling super moody in the morning until lunch
but then while playing music, and at the end of the practice,
felt so much better

rushed to aunt's house
celebrated my cousin's wife's baby daughter FIRST MONTH!!
YAY IM AN AUNTY! hahaha
the baby is so cute!!
her hair is so soft, actually she doesn't really have a lot of hair, a little only
she's 4kg! her bones are not really developed, so she's very meaty
HAHA SORRY, I DONT KNOW HOW TO PUT IT IN WORDS
she's really so fragile, bet being a mother would be something really... _______

looking at her sleeping (babies sleep for around 16hours a day), made me feel so at ease and calm..
IT'S JUST THAT YOUR MIND IS CLEARED FROM EVERYTHING
NO WORRIES, PROBLEMS, OR ANYTHING
i could look at her 24/7, sayang, take care of her and all that

YEAH, I WOKE UP AT 3:20AM, dreadfully.... AND I WALKED TO TAMPINES MRT AT 3.40AM
i walked for like.. 20minutes, so i arrived at 4am
FREAKING SCARY !!!!!

i was so scared i walked along the sides of the road, i didnt dare to walk under the HDB flats
prepared to run like hell man if anything happen LOLLLL- PARANOID HAHA
i took super big steps, and the roads were really deserted... i saw a lot of taxis!!! all midnight drivers.
and a few cars/lorries.. BUT IT WAS REALLY PEACEFUL. =D
oh well.... i quite proud of myself i did it hahaha, took the long route by walking though cos cant take shortcuts

then got bus fetch us there! =) to sentosa siloso beach
stationed at some transition area, supposed to guide people to park their bikes etc etc
have a few scratches when helping the kids to remove their bike from the rack, bla bla bla

SWIMMING > CYCLING > RUNNING
it's super cool to see the whole event taking place, all the kids were super enthu!! =)
BTW the bicycle racks just kept falling, all the bicycles also fell along with it
volunteers were quite busy, i thought gonna be some sian event but it proved me wrong!
then a lot of free milo stuff
FREE MILO, FREE MILO YOGHURT OR STH.. yeah ok everything was provided for

after the whole thing ended, just went to walk around at RWS!! HELLO UNIVERSAL STUDIO
and the candylicious store was just, SUBLIME . i can use this word right
overall, GOOD DAY
FRUITFUL! =) surprisingly not tired, I HAVE BEEN AWAKE FOR 16 HOURS NOW. GOOD HAHAHA
